Account of a long and varied career which began with 1 Squadron on Hurricanes in France, then with 421 Flight (later 91 Sqn) on Spitfires over the Channel. West Africa with 128 and the desert with 112 Squadron, where he was very successful commander, led to spells in charge of the Krendi Wing in Malta and a 2nd TAF Typhoon Wing before transfer to SHAEF HQ, with further foreign administrative appointments before retirement from a final posting commanding RAF Chivenor in July 1963. 16 pages of b/w photos. 176 pages.
