This book provides a comprehensive history of this fascinating operator based in rural South Oxfordshire. The book covers the bus operations of Kemps between 1929 and 1955 when they became Chiltern Queens Bus Services. The company ran as Chiltern Queens until 2002 when the company came in to finical difficulties.
It was at this point that Keith Horseman from Horseman Coaches Ltd got involved and took control of their affairs. The initial intention was to keep the Chiltern Queens name for a further two years but this was not meant to be. Written by Laurie James and John Whitehead, this large format hardback book has 176 pages with over 250 colour and black and white illustrations plus comprehensive fleet details, route maps, garage and staff details and much more.
